Admittedly, I was hesitant about buying this after reading so many bad reviews. I received it a few days ago and am very much pleased with it. I change my own tires--from Winter to Summer tires (and vice-versa) on my wife's car and mine. I have a low-slung Subaru WRX and the low-profile of this jack easily fit underneath the jack points. I almost lost the bolt that holds the handle to the jack--so please remember to look for it in the box. It holds the lift handle in place making maneuvering the jack quite easy. There's also a nice carry handle built onto the end. I like the rubber saddle as it seems to be made for the new-style jack points before and aft of the front & back tires. It was easy to raise the car with just a few pumps. I'm completely satisfied. It does everything the description says it does. Would buy again.

I bought two of these for my 4WD truck. This is a great idea. In the past I've read reviews about hydraulic oil leaks, so I was somewhat hesitant to order, but both arrived dry, and I've been using them frequently now with no sign of oil leaks. What a relief to get away from leak down floor jacks and wrestling them in and out past jack stands! I also use them under my travel trailer for leveling.

The 4000 pound jack is small enough to store it under the front seat of my Dodge Ram 1500. I keep it in the truck for emergencies. It can lift high enough to change any tire on this truck. I jack up a front tire by placing the jack under the frame. To jack up a tire in the rear, the jack is placed under the axle. I also have two of the 6000 pound jacks. The 6000 pound jacks work well when I am parked on level concrete. Sometimes when I am parked on unlevel areas like gravel, the 6000 pound jacks are too tall to fit underneath the frame of the truck. I use the 6000 pound jacks for doing brake jobs or rotating tires. The 4000 pound jack is better for roadside emergencies.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS - 12/05/18: After reading the instructions, I used it on my ~4400 lbs body-on-frame 4wd SUV (Toyota FJ Cruiser), and it worked just as described. Getting it back out from under the frame or axle may seem hard, but all you have to do is keep the release lever up and give the unijack a good yank from the base. Speaking of which, this thing is sturdy! I don’t see it tipping or moving around. Seems strong and well-built! I will update this after I’ve used it several times.

Fantastic Jack. I bought it because it has a built in Jack stand for security. Yes, I've read the reviews and yes the jack stand looks like it comes out at a little bit of an angle due to where the piston is. But it Seems to work really great. The jack is a little heavy for my wife, but she can manage it. This jack is easy to use and my 14 year old can operate it.

I love this thing! I installed a 2.5" lift on my 2011 Grand Cherokee, and the stock jack wasn't cutting it anymore. I dreaded the thought of having to lug around a small floor jack, and the hi-lift style off-road jacks won't work with my vehicle. I stumbled on this item while searching for a solution, thought it was a unique take on jacks and a great combination of features. This thing is really handy, and best of all, it fits easily down inside the wheel of my spare tire and allows the floor plate to close fully. The safety latches are a huge boost to peace of mind. The base is wide enough for stability on anything close to level ground. They also make a larger version for vehicle that sit even higher in the air. I liked this thing so much that I bought one for my brother to use in his lifted 2001 Jeep Cherokee, and one of the larger ones for my boss to use with his 2016 F-250. I've told all the Jeep guys I know about these jacks, I've posted about them in several Jeep forums, and I'm considering buying a couple more just for use in the garage!

These are super jacks which are easy to use. I have a four door Jeep so I bought four of these for when I change my oil, tire rotation, etc.. and I found them easy to use, secure and well built. I even used them on my wife's car, though I needed to raise it with a floor jack first to fit these underneath. But they work great either just as a safety feature or a replacement jack.

AWESOME, just don't go too far up. Lots to love, work great. If you ever leak at all, do not exceed the max pumping height or you'll need another jack to get them off. New like mine, they work perfect. Only thing I could suggest would be a return spring to bring them back down to fully closed when you open the valve. Might just be because they're new and still tight, but they require a bit of effort to close them to pull them out. Local kid in the neighborhood just spent the summer relearning how to walk/talk because of trusting a jack without using jack stands and thinking his head would hold the car off the ground. I gave him my set of jack stands for the next time he gets under a vehicle. These stands will take their place for the next dozen years.

This is working out great for me, but not as the only jack. I use a relatively lightweight HBF aluminum jack to raise the car, and then put this at a hard point like the subframe. Too tall to be the first jack under a 1998 Volvo V70, but very stable and secure once in place and locked in. This jack is quite compact and not very heavy. If you are thinking about using this as your only jack, be sure to actually go out and measure your car's ground clearance at the jacking point. You might be surprised at how low your car actually is. I no longer need to carry jackstands to the place where I do auto repair work, and this beats a jackstand because you can raise the car with it.

While I expected this Bottle jack to be a small alternative option to my SUV, it turned out to be a very sturdy and quite B I G for it's seldom use... Oh! and NOTE: this jack has a huge bottom plate, so it aint going anywhere while in use.
